About Chef Ming's Kitchen

Located at 12239 CA-2, Los Angeles, CA 90025, Chef Ming's Kitchen operates as a chinese restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (310) 207-5496. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Also means less sauce on each piece. .Chinese vegetables with tofu. Not Chinese dry. No good chinese sauce. Tofu rubbery. Another mixed vegrtsnle better but just OK. Bettrr tofu..Best taste was eggplant with garlic sauce. A bit greasy. You need rice for balance. Rice was Not hot. Do they think vegan. Vegetarians are not foodies. And have no taste buds. I don't pay 19 for a bland Dry cafeteria dish thst was just O.K I wanted to like it better Where's the Chinese pizzazz. Hot & sour good. This was enough food for 2 hungry people.

Fast Chinese food. Fresh cooked on hot trays. Not made to order. But the food was delicious. Generous portions. Friendly service. Not a fancy, sit down place. But if you're in the mood for Chinese and short on time, this is a good place.

They have lunch specials with your choice of 1 or 2 entrees and it comes with chow mein and feied rice. I decided to get one full order of kung pao chicken ($20 with tax). The nice lady at the counter offered if I can wait for a few minutes and they will cook a fresh batch for me. There's already a batch on the chaffing dish but I was on a rush and waited for the freshly cooked ones. She also gave me a free meal pack of rice! The kung pao chicken was well seasoned and the serving was huge. I was even able to divide the leftover it into 4 of serving portions. I would love to comeback and try their beef and brocolli, orange chicken and stir fried veggies.
